About Me
I work for The Center for Public Integrity as a data reporting fellow, where I combine data analysis with investigative reporting to report deep dive, inequality-based national stories. I’m earning my master's at American University in investigative journalism and public affairs.
As an MA candidate, I reported for The Wash (American University's graduate journalism online publication) as a beat reporter focused on inequity and issues impacting marginalized communities. My experience with nuanced, detailed storytelling through this program showed me that I want to work as a community reporter, telling stories for and about voiceless members of our communities. My national investigative work with The Center for Public Integrity taught me how to report locally with a large-scale mindset, bringing data analysis, public records findings and deep-dive reporting into important, local stories.
Before working toward my masters and joining The Center for Public Integrity, I spent a year with The Investigative Reporting Workshop as a data research intern, contributing to The Accountability Project and assisting with national investigative stories. I also spent a summer with Newsday reporting on the WNBA, which initially sparked my passion for reporting on the underreported.
I received American University’s highest undergraduate journalism award in May 2020, when I graduated magna cum laude with my bachelor’s in journalism and religious studies. As an undergraduate, I spent four years as a reporter for my campus paper, The Eagle. I covered women’s basketball, Greek life and breaking news on campus through print and multimedia mediums.

I'm from Long Island, New York, and spent the last five years living in Washington, D.C.
